The Restaurant La Cialda is in a favorable position, only 3 km from the city center of San Giovanni Rotondo. It has a wide and elegant room and offers to its Guests spaces that distinguish themselves thanks to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The Pugliese cooking pays a great attention to the raw ingredients, coming both from the ground both from the sea; in any case, all of them has the purpose to enhance, not altering, the basic tastes of our dishes.
One of our specialties are the "orecchiette", typical homemade pasta, whose roots seem to dated back to the 1500.
Where we are
BY CAR
Coming from the North, one must follow the A14 highway Bologna-Taranto and exit at San Severo. From there, follow the SS 272 that leads to San Marco in Lamis and then go on to San Giovanni Rotondo. From the center, the highway is the A16, Neaples-Bari and the exit is Candela-Foggia: then, take the SS655 to Foggia and the SS89 to Manfredonia, up to the junction of the SP45 bis, by following the indications to San Giovanni Rotondo.
From the South, take the A14 highway to Taranto-Bologna, the exit is Cerignola Est: from here take some civic roads always to Manfredonia, up to the SS 89 to Foggia, then take the Sp 45 bis to San Giovanni Rotondo.
BY TRAIN & BY BUS
The closest train station is that one in Foggia. From there, there are a lot of bus lines that lead to the city center. Who instead wants to reach San Giovanni Rotondo directly by bus from his cit, can rely on a lot of bus lines too.
